MMEIP Families, Survivors, and service providers are invited to a weekend of healing, connection, and strengthening of MMEIP support services.

Red Dress Solidarity Walk & Memorial Round Dance
An annual walk and round dance to raise awareness of the Missing, Murdered, and Exploited Indigenous people in the RMWB.

Moose Hide Campaign Day
The Moose Hide Campaign began as a BC-born Indigenous-led grassroots movement to engage men and boys in ending violence towards women and children. It has since grown into a nationwide movement of Indigenous and non-Indigenous Canadians from local communities, First Nations, governments, schools, colleges/universities, police forces and many other organizations – all committed to taking action to end this violence.

Blue Jean Jacket Day
Blue Jean Jacket Day was launched for the first time in Edmonton on June 6, 2023 and is meant to serve as a counterpart to Red Dress Day, which takes place on May 5 and raises awareness about missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls (MMIWG).

National Day of Truth and Reconciliation
The day honours the children who never returned home and Survivors of residential schools, as well as their families and communities.

Sisters in Spirit Day
Sisters in Spirit Day honours the lives of missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls and gender-diverse people, supports grieving families and loved ones and creates opportunities for healing.

Transgender Day of Remembrance
Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR) is an annual observance on November 20 that honors the memory of the transgender people whose lives were lost in acts of anti-transgender violence.

Two-Spirit Day
Two Spirit Celebration Day acknowledges the diversity of gender expression and identity alongside diversities of sexual orientation in the Indigenous community.
